Kids Do Art II is our more advanced arts program for Youth aged 10 – 13. The times for this program are Saturday mornings 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. We prefer that you pre-register for classes by phone or e-mail as space is limited, and for some of the more detailed classes, we have some preparations before class. The fee for each Kids Do Art II class is $15 per child and $10 for each additional child from the same family, all supplies are included. As an added bonus attend 10 classes and the 11th class is free. Payment accepted in cash or cheque only.

This program is intended to teach some art fundamentals while building on skills and meeting others with similar interests.

Oct 17 BIRD CAGES and SUNCATCHERS - decorate your own bird cage and create your own suncatcher.
Oct 24 NATURE PORTRAIT-create a self-portrait using natural materials such as seed and dried leaves.
Oct 31 GARGOYLE PART 1- create a papermache and sand gargoyle.

November

NOV 7 GARGOYLE PART 2- complete gargoyle project.
NOV 14 POTTERY – LPG – pottery fun
NOV 21 INDONESIAN PUPPETS-create your own shadow puppet, based on traditional Indonesian folklore.
NOV 28 CALLIGRAPHY- learn Chancery calligraphy and put it to use.

December

DEC 5 SCRAPBOOKING-create your own holiday scrapbook (need to bring your own photos and pre-register please)
DEC 12 CHRISTMAS GARLAND-create your own foil garland learning to use different embossing tools.
DEC 19 STOCKINGS – make your own Christmas stocking from start to finish.
